Typical One-to-One Coaching
Process
Ideally individuals commit to
working with a coach for at least 3 months to see a
genuine return on investment: one which continues to
have an impact long after the coaching itself has been
completed. Initial programmes of 6 to 10 sessions are
recommended, scheduled to suit the needs of the individual.
Face-to-face sessions usually last for 60 - 90 minutes,
telephone sessions for 30- 45 minutes. All sessions
are underpinned by email support.
A Progress Evaluation usually takes
place midway through the programme to clarify performance
to date and to evaluate and refine objectives moving
forward. A Full Evaluation is carried out as the coaching
programme draws to a close, with the coachee identifying
continued learning and development requirements.
